Front Office Staff

 
My name is Shauna and I am blessed to be Dr. Clothier's oldest child.  I have 3 boys and a wonderful husband.  I have worked in the dental field for most of my teenage/adult life.  Growing up I would work in the office during the summers.   My siblings and I have had the job cleaning the office for as long as I can remember and now my dear husband has taken over the reigns of that position for the last 8 years or so.  I came to work in the office full time in January of 1994 where I enjoyed assisting and then over time moved to the front office position.  Since adopting our two youngest boys I have gone to part-time work.  I truly love our office staff and, of course, my dad.  It is a pleasure to be able to work with this amazing group of people that we all call family.


My name is Aurella, I was born in Utah and moved to Henderson in 1957.  I am married and have five children.  I started working in the dental field in 1976 as a receptionist.  I came to work for Dr. Clothier in 1999.  I now work part time and really enjoy working with Dr. Clothier and the rest of the staff.

My name is Carla,  I was born in Boulder City soon after my father, Dr. C, started his practice.  I have worked in the office off and on for many years.  Currently, I am head of advertising and public relations.  I have recently graduated from SUU with a degree in stage management and hope to someday work for Disney.  I done work off Broadway work and I am the stage manager for Red Mountain Music Company.  I will be gone for the summer stage managing High School Musical at Tuachan.

My name is Shelley, I am a recent resident to Henderson.  I have been in the Dental field in the past and am enjoying getting to know all of our great patients.  Thank you for welcoming me.

My name is Dawn.  I'm married and have a daughter and son.  I was born and raised in Henderson.  My family has had horses for twenty years and we enjoy roping.  I have worked for Dr. Clothier for 13 years.  My daughter Nikki and I have worked together for 6 years.


My name is Nikki and I have worked for Dr. C for 6 years.  I grew up in Henderson and was the third generation in my family to graduate from Basic High School.  I grew up playing soccer and riding horses with my family.  I am a spanish major at UNLV and would enjoy translating in the future.

Hygienists


Hi, I'm Gale and I have had the honor of working with Dr. Clothier for the past 31 years.  This is a great office with a great dentist which makes work fun, exciting, creative, and new every minute.  Fortunately, Dr. Clothier has a wonderful sense of humor.  That's a good thing since he has worked with an office full of women all these years.  The greatest joy, however, is all the wonderful patients that we have had the privilege to serve over these many years, patients that have become so dear to us that they are not patients but truly friends.

When I'm not a dental hygienist, my special joy is my grandchildren.  I have for of the sweetest, cutest, most lovable little kids in the world.  They keep me laughing.

Once upon a time I loved to do crafts.  Now most of my craft time is taken up with projects that include the little people I mentioned above.  Reading is one of the luxuries I do take time to enjoy.  Sunsets are high on my list of joys.  They fill the soul as well as the eye.

Whether I'm looking at the beauty of nature or looking at a beautiful tooth I know how blessed I am.  Dentistry makes radiant smiles, so give one away to everyone you see, and the world will be a more beautiful place.


Hi, I'm Karen and I am a dental hygienist for Dr. Clothier and have worked for him for over 11 years.  I have been in the dental profession for over 30 years.  I am originally from So. California where I attended dental hygiene school.  We have the most wonderful patients and staff and it is the best job I have  ever had!


My name is Donita and I was born in Utah, but have lived in Henderson since 1963 at age 10, with the exception of being away to attend college.  I have been happily married for 28 years, raised four adopted children and have two grandchildren.  I enjoy people, crafts, the outdoors and traveling.

I graduated with honors from Idaho State University in Pocatello, Idaho receiving a B.S. degree in Dental Hygiene, in May of 1978.  I was the recipient of the Achievement award for "Outstanding Clinical Performance", an award which had not been recognized in the previous four years.  I was offered a position to teach at ISU Dental Hygiene Department, but chose to return to Nevada and work to gain practical experience in the dental office.  However, now having almost 30 years experience in private practice, I have chosen not to return to teach because I love working with the patients that I have established great rapport with.  I worked in a dental office in Henderson for 20 years, but upon the dentist's retirement I came to Dr. Clothier's office to practice my dental hygiene skills.  I have been working for Dr. Eldon Clothier since October 1998 and I LOVE IT!!
